In March 2003, the Youth Development Network hosted a two-day conference to raise the awareness of Integrated Youth Development (IYD) in South Africa. This booklet summarizes the perspectives and knowledge that we shared at the conference. It intends to stimulate further dialogue, co-operation and integration between the diverse organisations that help young people develop. It also aims to encourage the youth development sector to intensify its efforts in advocating for Integrated Youth Development.
