As we are working towards a decade since the establishment of the network, we came to realise that the YDN is still a relevant institution to pursue matters of youth development in the country. The network is moving with trends within the sector and the programmes that are being delivered are actually responding to the needs and challenges of young people in the country and the region, and they are also developmental priorities of many countries in the region. In the year 2006, the YDN was in a transitional process that was affected by the change in leadership, which coincided with the funding trends and the trends within the youth sector in South Africa and as a result transformation was inevitable. The YDN invites you to an informative 2006/07 annual reports that provides the insights of the programmes that were implemented by both the National Office and the Member Organisation in both the South Africa and other parts of the Southern African region.
